DOG
BEHAVIOURALIST
They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, well I can categorically tell you that this is not true! All dogs, regardless of age, have the capacity to learn and, where necessary, be rehabilitated. A lack of adequate training as a puppy, a breakdown in routine and habit, or a general lack of care and attention can all lead to behavioural problems, all of which I can help you address.
Having a problematic dog can be exhausting! From chewing the furniture or terrible recall to more severe issues such as aggression or anxiety, these negative behaviours can have a devastating impact on both dogs and humans alike.
A well-trained dog is a happy dog, which leads to a happy owner.
I use a range of positive training methods to tackle all kinds of behavioural problems. My uniquely developed, intuitive training process involves communicating with your dog, tapping into their heightened senses, establishing an understanding between dog and human, and rebuilding the foundations of confidence, trust, and independence.
Ultimately, it’s about the strength of your bond with your dog and how you communicate. These sessions are as much about giving you the tools to continue reinforcing good behaviour at home as it is addressing the individual negative behaviours of your dog.
My behavioural correction starts with an initial assessment to discuss your concerns and better understand the issues at hand – whether they have always been present or if lifestyle changes or a traumatic experience has changed your dog’s personality. Following this, I will devise a personalised plan to suit their temperament and specific issues.
Training sessions start indoors to encourage focus in a controlled environment before moving outside. In just one session, I can guarantee quick results and a better understanding of your dog’s problems. I promise you, change is possible!
